Do You Reap What You Sow?
The votes have been cast, the people have spoken and yet George W. Bush finds himself in the White House. Considering the perversion of our democratic process perpetrated on behalf of Mr. Bush to purloin the Office of the President of the United States, can anyone be truly surprised that Mr. Bush managed to spend down the entire budget surplus in less than one year? Is anyone surprised by the President's attack on our environment resources, the mismanagement of our energy resources, and the shift of wealth in this country back to the chosen few?

Wake Up America!

Were you listening to Mr. Bush on the campaign trail when he said whatever he thought would "sell" in each state not worrying about whether he directly contradicted himself? How much more information do you need before you realize this man is a snake oil salesman?

Democracy didn't fail us - we failed ourselves! After eight years of economic prosperity, engineered by Mr. William Jefferson Clinton, we became complicant. We were more concerned about the President's sexual habits than his ability to run the country. As a country, we have truly reaped what we have sown!

How much more damage must be done to this country before we respond? 2002 is right around the corner and it's well past time to send Mr. Bush and his friends back home. Will you stand up and be counted, or will you continue to allow the Supreme Court to choose our leaders?

April 1998 - 199,512 Pages, 492,577 Requests

It's Amazing, but True! The doghouse has serviced over 3,056,831 requests, representing 1,215,516 pages, for almost 92,000 sites throughout the world. From Argentina to Yugoslavia, we are now servicing over 16,000 requests per day and almost half a million requests per month. And while I don't really get the time to do this site justice, darqstar and the members of the Shifting Sands X-men© fan-fiction Archive have made this tiny home-based site a significant contributor to the internet community. Lets keep up the good work!

April was so close to our goal of 500,000 hits in a single month that I am sure we can do it in May! All we need was another 8,000 hits or 1/2 a day's traffic. Come'on folks - we can do it!
